During the visit, the IGP expressed deep concern over the incident and extended condolences to families of victims who reportedly lost their lives during the attack.

The IGP condemned the incident as “cruel and unacceptable,” assuring residents, parents, and guardians that security agencies were fully committed to restoring safety within the affected communities.
He also directed the deployment of additional tactical and intelligence assets to strengthen operations across the area and adjoining forests believed to be under surveillance.
