Concerns have been raised about the upcoming JAMB resit exam, scheduled to take place from tomorrow, May 16 to May 19, 2025. Alex Onyia, Educare Boss, expressed his concerns on his official X handle, stating that the situation is “quite confusing.”
According to Onyia, “Tomorrow’s JAMB resit exam is quite confusing. WAEC have not made an official statement regarding tomorrow’s Agric/Music exam shift yet.” This lack of clarity has caused uncertainty among candidates.
Onyia further highlighted the challenges faced by candidates living in far-off places, saying, “People living in far away places that need to travel are also confused. Some obviously can’t travel. What is now their faith?” The situation is particularly dire for those without sufficient funds for transportation.
The Educare Boss emphasized the need for adequate preparation time, stating, “I strongly feel that at least 2 weeks is needed for these students to prepare physically and psychologically.” This sentiment underscores the potential impact of the short notice on candidates’ well-being and performance.
The concerns raised by Onyia highlight the complexities surrounding the JAMB resit exam. Candidates are eagerly awaiting further clarification on the examination schedule.
The situation remains fluid, with candidates and stakeholders closely monitoring developments.
