The University of Port Harcourt (UniPort) has successfully completed a massive replacement of all marker boards across its campuses. The upgrade, which includes classrooms, laboratories, seminar rooms, and lecture halls, has been described as one of the most extensive academic facility enhancements in the institution’s recent history.
This latest development forms part of the larger vision of UniPort’s 9th Vice-Chancellor, Professor Owunari Abraham Georgewill, whose administration continues to prioritize the revitalization of learning environments. The newly installed boards are modern, sleek, and highly functional, providing clear visibility and smooth writing surfaces that meet international standards. Mrs. Patience Igwe, a lecturer in the Faculty of Education, expressed her excitement: “I no longer have to deal with marker stains that refuse to wipe off or cracked surfaces that ruin the flow of teaching.
