Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has commenced its Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) screening for the 2025/2026 academic session.
In a statement released by the institution, the exercise is open to candidates who selected UNIOSUN as their first-choice university in the 2025 UTME, as well as those willing to change their institution of choice to UNIOSUN. Eligible applicants must have scored a minimum of 160 in the UTME.
However, only candidates who scored 200 and above will be considered for admission into competitive programmes such as Medicine, Nursing, Law, and Common and Islamic Law. Applicants who selected any of these courses but did not meet the cut-off are advised to apply for other suitable programmes.
In accordance with national admission policy, candidates must be at least 16 years old by 30th September 2025 to be eligible. Applicants below this age have been advised not to apply.
Direct Entry Guidelines
For Direct Entry applicants, including those enrolled in the university’s IJMB and JUPEB programmes, possession of the official Direct Entry form from JAMB is compulsory. In addition, they are required to:
Carefully review the university’s admission requirements for their chosen programmes;
Apply via the official UNIOSUN admission portal;
Forward academic transcripts to The Registrar, Osun State University, no later than Wednesday, 3rd September 2025.
The university stated that a minimum of Lower Credit in relevant qualifications will be considered for Direct Entry admission.
General Admission Requirements
All candidates must possess at least five credit passes in relevant subjects in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB, obtained at not more than two sittings. However, for Medicine, Nursing, and Law, the required five credits must be obtained at one sitting only.
Applicants are expected to provide accurate and verifiable information on the university’s portal. Submission of false credentials will result in immediate disqualification, withdrawal of admission (if already offered), and possible legal prosecution. The university added that fees paid in such cases will not be refunded.
Candidates awaiting results are required to upload them within one week of release, while those who fail to participate in the screening will not be considered for admission.

As such, all candidates must upload their O’Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal as a mandatory prerequisite for admission.
