Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has announced the commencement of its 2025 recruitment exercise for academic and non-teaching staff, inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill various vacant positions across its faculties and departments.
According to a statement released by the university’s management, the online application portal will open on Monday, October 6, 2025, and close on Saturday, November 15, 2025, six weeks from the date of publication. Interested candidates are to submit their applications through the university’s official recruitment portal at recruitment.atbu.edu.ng.
The available academic positions include Senior Lecturer (CONUASS/CONMESS 05), Lecturer I (CONUASS/CONMESS 04), Lecturer II (CONUASS/CONMESS 03), and Assistant Lecturer (CONUASS/CONMESS 02). Non-teaching positions advertised include Laboratory Technologist I (CONTISS 08) and Laboratory Technologist II (CONTISS 07).
Vacancies span multiple faculties, including Computing, Environmental Technology, Science, Veterinary Medicine, Clinical Sciences, Basic Clinical Sciences, Basic Medical Sciences, and Allied Medical Sciences, as well as the Dairy Research and Development Centre.
Applicants are expected to possess relevant academic qualifications, professional certifications, and requisite experience applicable to their disciplines. Each applicant may apply for only one position, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.
Applications must be completed online, with candidates required to create an account and upload all necessary documents, including an application letter, curriculum vitae (CV), and supporting credentials.
