The Vice-Chancellor of Redeemer’s University, Ede, Osun State, who also serves as the National President of the Forests and Forest Products Society (FFPS), has praised Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State, for its remarkable commitment to environmental preservation and the promotion of a naturally beautiful and conducive learning atmosphere.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Elizade University, Professor Sunday Babatunde Adeyemo, and members of the university management team, the FFPS President expressed admiration for the university’s clean, green, and aesthetically maintained environment, describing it as an embodiment of excellence in institutional management and sustainability.
According to him, Elizade University’s serene landscape and eco-friendly design contribute significantly to its academic distinction. “I must commend the management of Elizade University for maintaining such a sparkling and irresistible environment. It is indeed impressive. Seeing your Faculty of Law is mind-blowing,” he remarked, highlighting how the university’s physical outlook mirrors its commitment to high educational standards and research advancement.
The visit formed part of the activities marking the commencement of the 2025 International Conference of the Forests and Forest Products Society (FFPS), hosted by Elizade University. While welcoming the delegation, Professor Adeyemo, the Acting Vice-Chancellor, expressed delight at hosting the FFPS International Conference, describing Elizade University as an ideal environment for academic and professional exchange.
