The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that today, the 28th, marks the official deadline for registration for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Candidates who fail to complete their registration before the close of today will forfeit the opportunity to sit for the 2026 UTME.
Prospective applicants are strongly advised to confirm that their registration has been properly completed, including biometric capture and final submission, as incomplete applications will not be processed. There will be no extension beyond the stipulated deadline.
Meanwhile, attention now shifts to the next phase of the admission cycle. Direct Entry (DE) registration is scheduled to commence on March 2, 2026. Candidates seeking admission into 200 level through advanced qualifications such as OND, HND, NCE, IJMB, or JUPEB are encouraged to prepare their documents ahead of the opening date.
All applicants are urged to stay updated through official JAMB communication channels to avoid misinformation and ensure full compliance with the admission timeline.
