The Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) has commenced admission into its Professional Diploma in Education (PDE) to Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) Conversion Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The university, through its Postgraduate College, said the six-month conversion programme is designed for holders of the Professional Diploma in Education who wish to upgrade their qualifications to a Postgraduate Diploma in Education.
According to the admission notice, applicants must possess a Professional Diploma in Education certificate with a minimum of credit pass. Candidates are also required to hold either a first degree in a relevant teaching subject with at least a Third Class classification from a recognised university or a Higher National Diploma (HND).
Applicants must equally possess five O’Level credits, including English Language and four other subjects, with at least a pass in Mathematics.
LASUED stated that interested candidates are expected to apply through the university’s postgraduate admission portal and complete the online application process after paying a non-refundable application fee of N25,000.
The institution noted that academic transcripts for the PDE programme must be submitted to the university not later than two weeks after the close of application sales.
It added that shortlisted candidates would be required to participate in a compulsory interview as part of the admission process.
According to the university, the sale of application forms will close six weeks from the date of publication of the advertisement.
The programme is expected to provide an opportunity for education professionals to enhance their qualifications and improve their career prospects within the teaching profession.
