The combined ceremonies will also bring together more than 20,000 graduands across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, according to figures announced by the university.
At the undergraduate level, 262 students graduated with First Class honours in the 2024/2025 academic session, while 232 achieved the distinction in 2025/2026, bringing the number of First Class graduates across the two sessions to 494.

Tasir Wale Raji, member of the House of Representatives representing Epe Federal Constituency, will chair the event.
Olatunji-Bello also used the briefing to highlight some of the developments recorded by the university under her administration.
She said LASU had retained its position as Nigeria’s most subscribed university for the second consecutive year, attracting more than 84,000 first-choice applications in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
According to her, the university also retained its position as the best university in West Africa in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings for the fourth consecutive year and recorded an improvement in its global ranking.
The Vice Chancellor further noted that the university had sustained its academic activities through the delivery of 20 inaugural lectures across various disciplines during the period under review.
The combined convocation ceremonies are coming towards the end of Olatunji-Bello’s five-year tenure as Vice Chancellor and will provide an opportunity for the university to celebrate its graduands, recognise distinguished personalities and highlight some of its academic and institutional milestones.
