Senator Shehu Buba, representing Bauchi South, has awarded scholarships to 401 students across various academic disciplines. This initiative is part of his unwavering commitment to enhancing learning opportunities and alleviating financial constraints for students in Bauchi State.
Speaking at Malikiya College of Health and Social Sciences, Bauchi, on Wednesday, Senator Buba, through his representative, Sabo Muhammad, announced an additional financial aid of N20,000 for each beneficiary. This gesture is aimed at encouraging academic excellence and easing the financial burden on students.
“The education and health sectors in Bauchi State need significant improvement,” Senator Buba emphasized. “These areas are underdeveloped, particularly considering the high number of out-of-school children. This scholarship program is a testament to my dedication to ensuring access to quality education for our youth.”
A substantial number of the scholarship recipients hail from Bauchi South, with additional beneficiaries from the central and northern zones of the state.
