Lead City University (LCU), Ibadan, has officially commenced the sale of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening forms for the 2025/2026 academic session. Interested candidates whether they chose Lead City University in their UTME or not are now invited to apply for admission into the university’s various undergraduate programmes.
Minimum Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission into Lead City University, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language, at not more than two sittings. Acceptable certificates include:
- GCE O’Level
- SSCE (WAEC or NECO)
- NABTEB
- Candidates applying via Direct Entry must have one of the following qualifications:
- GCE A’ Levels
- IJMB
- JUPEB
- NCE
- OND
- University Diploma or equivalent qualifications
Lead City University also offers Conversion Programmes (2 years) for candidates holding HND, University degrees, ACA, or equivalent certifications who wish to obtain a Bachelor’s degree.
UTME and Non-UTME Admissions
Candidates who did not originally select Lead City University during UTME registration can still apply for admission. The university accepts change of institution candidates and welcomes all qualified applicants to participate in the screening process.
For those without UTME results, Lead City University encourages enrollment in its IJMB/JUPEB Pre-degree Programmes. These programmes provide an alternative pathway to university admission. Upon successful completion, candidates gain Direct Entry admission into 200 Level, not only at Lead City but at any Nigerian or foreign university recognized by JAMB.

- Complete the application form in four simple steps.
- Pay a processing fee of ₦10,300 to finalize your application.
- Await application review you will be contacted if your application is successful.
Upon receiving an offer of admission, you must pay an acceptance fee of ₦50,300 to secure your slot.
