The Federal University of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Abeokuta (FUMMSA), Ogun State, has commenced admissions for the 2025/2026 academic session.
In a statement signed by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Fatiu A. Arogundade, the university announced that all applications must be submitted through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible, candidates must have sat for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained a minimum score of 200. Applicants must also be at least 16 years old at the time of admission.
For professional programmes, prospective students are required to possess a minimum of five credit passes in relevant subjects in the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), obtained in a single sitting, as specified in the current JAMB brochure.
In addition, candidates must complete a change of institution to FUMMSA via the JAMB portal to be considered.

Screening and Resumption
The university will conduct a Post-UTME screening exercise, after which admission lists will be uploaded to the JAMB portal. Successful candidates will receive their admission letters through the same platform.
The screening exercise will hold from August 25 to 29, 2025, while resumption for the new academic session is scheduled for September 2, 2025, subject to the payment of all approved fees.
