A five-day training program designed to enhance digital literacy among teachers has concluded in Bauchi, with renewed calls to strengthen girl-child education across the state.
The initiative, organized by AI-Muhibbah Foundation in collaboration with the Bauchi State Ministry of Education, was held under the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) project. The sessions, which ran from August 20 to 24, took place at the Justice Zainab Adamu Bulkachuwa Community IT Centre.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Project Coordinator Hajiya Ladi Hamma urged participants to step down the training within their communities and ensure that the newly acquired skills translate into improved classroom teaching and learning.
She commended AI-Muhibbah Foundation for its commitment to capacity building and for supporting adolescent girls’ access to quality education.
Organizers noted that the program is part of broader efforts to bridge the digital divide and expand educational opportunities for girls in northern Nigeria.
