Step-by-Step Guide to Check Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
1️⃣ Visit JAMB E-Facility Portal
Go to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/ using either a computer or a mobile phone with internet access. Ensure you are logging in with the same email and password you used during your JAMB registration.
2️⃣ Log in to Your Dashboard
Input your registered email address and password correctly. Once logged in, you will be redirected to your JAMB dashboard where all your registration and admission details are displayed.
3️⃣ Click on “Check Admission Status”
On the dashboard, locate and click on “Check Admission Status.” This option will redirect you to a new page connected to CAPS (Central Admission Processing System).
4️⃣ Access JAMB CAPS
Click on “Access my CAPS.” This will load the CAPS environment, which is where you can confirm whether you have been offered admission.
5️⃣ Check Admission Status
Click on “Admission Status” to know your fate.
- If admitted, you will see your photo alongside a congratulatory message indicating your provisional admission.
- If not admitted yet, you will see the response: “Sorry, No Admission has been Given Yet.”
What to Do If You Have Been Offered Admission
✅ Accept or Reject Admission Offer
- To accept or reject the admission, send an SMS with the word ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019.
- Make sure you are sending the message from the phone number linked to your JAMB profile during registration.
- Candidates have only four (4) weeks from the date of admission to either accept or reject. Failure to do this within the period may result in the admission being automatically withdrawn.
✅ For Those Without Registered Phone Numbers
If you do not have access to the phone number used for JAMB registration, you are required to visit any JAMB-accredited CBT centre to carry out the process of accepting or rejecting your admission.
✅ Print Admission Letter
After accepting the admission, candidates must print out their JAMB Admission Letter. This is a compulsory document that will be required for screening, clearance, and registration at the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro.
