The Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, has announced the release of its intra-university transfer form for the 2025/2026 academic session. The decision was approved by the institution’s Senate at its 321st Statutory Meeting held virtually on Saturday, 2nd August 2025.
According to a circular with reference number LASU/SEN/321/07/099, the Senate considered and approved the timetable for the processing of intra-university transfers. The timetable outlines the specific periods for applications, departmental considerations, and final approvals.
Activity 1: Students’ Application for Intra-University Transfer
- Duration: Two (2) weeks
- Date: Monday, 15th September 2025 to Friday, 26th September 2025
Activity 2: Consideration of Applications by the Releasing Departments and Faculties
- Duration: Two (2) weeks
- Date: Monday, 29th September 2025 to Friday, 10th October 2025
Activity 3: Consideration of Applications by the Receiving Departments and Faculties
- Duration: Two (2) weeks
- Date: Monday, 13th October 2025 to Friday, 24th October 2025
Activity 4: Consideration of Students’ Applications and Recommendations by the Committee
- Duration: Three (3) days
- Date: Monday, 27th October 2025 to Wednesday, 29th October 2025
The university management advised interested students to strictly adhere to the approved timetable and ensure timely submission of their applications. It further noted that transfers will only be processed based on merit, available spaces, and compliance with the university’s academic regulations.
