The Gombe State Government has announced that the 2025 Mock Examinations for final-year students in all public secondary schools will begin on Monday, September 29, and run through Thursday, October 2, 2025.
According to the timetable released by the Ministry of Education, the examinations will be conducted over three days. On the opening day, students will sit for Civic Education, Commerce, Biology, and Mathematics. On Tuesday, they will write Economics, Chemistry, and English Language. The exercise will conclude on Thursday with Physics, Government, Financial Accounting, and Building and Engineering Drawing.
The Ministry noted that the Mock Examination, consistently approved by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya since the inception of his administration, remains a prerequisite for student registration in their final-year external examinations.
The government emphasized that the initiative is designed to prepare students adequately for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), National Examination Council (NECO), and other final-year assessments.
Saidu Bappa Malala, Special Assistant on Media to the Commissioner of Education, confirmed the schedule in a statement, stressing the administration’s commitment to upholding educational standards across the state.
