The management of Osun State University (UNIOSUN), Osogbo, has issued a reminder to all candidates offered provisional admission for the 2025/2026 academic session to accept their offers on or before Monday, October 27, 2025, or risk forfeiture.
In a statement signed by the Registrar, Mrs. Atinuke A. Oguntunde, the university congratulated all successful candidates on their admission but cautioned that any candidate who fails to accept the offer within the stipulated period will automatically forfeit it.
According to the release, the directive affects candidates whose admission offers were released on September 27, 2025, and October 12, 2025, when the merit and supplementary admission lists were published, respectively.
The university emphasized that candidates are required to accept their provisional admission within two weeks of release to enable processing on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
“The rule is that candidates must accept a provisional offer within two weeks. This is to enable the University to process the candidates to JAMB CAPS for offer of admission,” the statement read.
UNIOSUN further warned that failure to comply by 12:00 noon on Monday, October 27, 2025, will result in automatic forfeiture of the admission offer.
The statement urged all affected candidates to take immediate action to secure their admission status.
