Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, has announced an extension of the deadline for the payment of school fees for newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session. The management disclosed this in an official circular issued in December 2025.
According to the circular, the new deadline for fee payment is Monday, 15th December 2025, granting fresh students additional time to complete their registration and financial obligations. The university stated that the extension was approved to ease the process for new entrants, many of whom are still finalising their documentation and settling into the academic environment.

The Registrar, Dr. Bayo Orukotan, who signed the circular, urged all affected students to make use of the opportunity and ensure their payments are completed on or before the announced date. He emphasised that the management expects strict compliance as part of the institution’s enrolment and verification procedures.
However, the circular clearly warned that no further extension will be granted beyond the new deadline. This directive is in line with the university’s academic calendar and the need to maintain an orderly registration process for the session.
The management also expressed appreciation to fresh students for their patience and cooperation since the commencement of the admission exercise. Students were advised to follow official communication channels for updates regarding clearance, registration, and other academic activities.
The circular was issued on Tuesday, 2nd December 2025, and shared across all university platforms to ensure maximum reach among freshers.
