The Management of Northwest University (NWU), Kano, has released the schedule for the physical verification and scrutiny of original documents for newly admitted Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) students for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The university said the exercise, which is a compulsory final stage of the admission process, will be conducted at the City Campus, Ado Bayero House, Kofar Nassarawa, and will commence daily at 9:00 a.m.
According to a directive issued by the Directorate of Examination, Admissions, and Records (DEAR), students are expected to present themselves strictly on the dates allocated to their respective faculties to ensure a smooth and orderly verification process.
The faculty-based schedule released by the university is as follows: Education and Arts on Monday, February 2, 2026; Science on Tuesday, February 3, 2026; Computing on Thursday, February 5, 2026; Social and Management Sciences on Friday, February 6, 2026; and Basic Medical, Clinical and Allied Health Sciences on Monday, February 9, 2026.
The management further stated that all affected students must come along with the original copies of their JAMB result slip or Direct Entry registration slip, Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) O’level results, Northwest University Post-UTME or DE acknowledgement slip, and academic transcripts for Direct Entry candidates.
The university advised newly admitted students to strictly comply with the verification timetable, noting that failure to appear on the assigned date may delay the completion of their registration process.
