The Governing Council of Federal College of Education, Iwo has formally announced the appointment of Dr. (Mrs.) Suliyat Ogungboyega JimSalaam as the new Provost of the institution.
The appointment marks a significant development in the leadership of the College, as Dr. Ogungboyega JimSalaam assumes office with years of academic experience, proven administrative capacity, and a strong background in teacher education and institutional management.
According to the Council, the new Provost’s vision for the College is anchored on academic excellence, improved staff and student welfare, strengthened research output, infrastructural development, and enhanced community engagement. Her leadership is expected to further consolidate the institution’s mandate of producing competent, innovative, and professionally trained educators.
