The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the sale of application documents and E-PIN vending for the 2026 Direct Entry (DE) registration will commence on Monday, March 2, 2026.
According to the update, the registration exercise will run until Saturday, April 25, 2026, providing prospective candidates with a window of nearly two months to complete the process.
The Board clarified that the sale of Direct Entry application documents and E-PIN vending will take place exclusively at JAMB State and Zonal Offices across the country. It emphasised that the process will not be conducted at Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres.
Direct Entry registration is designed for candidates who possess advanced qualifications such as National Diploma (ND), National Innovation Diploma (NID), Higher National Diploma (HND), Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), IJMB, JUPEB or equivalent credentials, and who seek admission into the 200-level of their chosen programmes in Nigerian universities.
Prospective applicants have been advised to adhere strictly to the announced timeline and ensure they process their applications only through authorised JAMB offices to avoid falling victim to fraud or misinformation.
The Board is expected to release further guidelines detailing eligibility requirements, registration procedures, and documentation for the 2026 Direct Entry admission cycle.
