The President also emphasized the government’s focus on healthcare, announcing an allocation of N402 billion for health sector infrastructure in 2025. Additionally, N282.65 billion has been set aside for the Basic Health Care Fund to strengthen Nigeria’s primary healthcare systems. “Our hospitals will be revitalized with essential medications and better resources, ensuring quality care for all Nigerians,” Tinubu said. He further noted that the Federal Government plans to procure essential drugs for distribution to public healthcare facilities nationwide, aiming to improve healthcare access and reduce dependence on medical imports.
