Ifeoluwa Afolayan, a 19-year-old Nigerian currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Imperial College London, recently won first prize at the WE Innovate competition. Her innovative climate-smart farming solution earned her €15,000 to advance the project.

-Ifeoluwa is the founder of Muju Earth and the lead innovator behind Aeropod—a project dedicated to regenerating humanity’s most important resources.
-She is a designer, soil enthusiast, AI lover, and engineer, with her work focused on biotech and Afro-tech.
-Her professional experience includes an internship as a telecommunications engineer at Huawei.
-She excelled academically early on, finishing with a 4.9/5.0 GPA at the International School, University of Lagos.
