A 19-year-old Nigerian, Aishah Mabayoje, has emerged as the overall best graduating student at the 2024/2025 convocation ceremony of the European University of Lefke (EUL) in Northern Cyprus.
Mabayoje, who studied Computer Engineering, not only graduated top of her department but also emerged as the best student in her faculty and across the entire university. Her exceptional academic performance earned her the honour of delivering the valedictory speech at the university’s graduation ceremony.
Sharing her achievement on her LinkedIn profile, the EUL scholar expressed gratitude and excitement, listing her academic milestones:

Aishah, the eldest of five siblings, is an alumna of Flora College, Ilorin, where she graduated as the overall best student between September 2015 and December 2020. She described her academic journey as one driven by a desire to lead by example and inspire others.
During her time at EUL, she earned several distinctions, including recognition among the top 50 students by CGPA in the Fall 2023/2024 session. She also received the Academic High Honour Award on five occasions across various semesters.
A tech enthusiast, her interests span emerging technologies such as Web3, systems programming, microprocessor design, and augmented reality. However, her core focus remains on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning, fields she believes have the potential to drive global transformation.
Mabayoje is proficient in programming languages including C, C++, and Python, and has a solid foundation in Data Structures, Object-Oriented Programming, and Systems Programming.
She aspires to build a successful career as an Artificial Intelligence Engineer, with a mission to develop impactful tech solutions to address global challenges.
