Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU) has opened its portal for the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session.
In a statement signed by the Registrar, Dr. Nkeiruka C. Mbanasor, the university announced that registration commenced on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, and invited qualified candidates to apply online via the school’s official website.
According to the notice, candidates who scored a minimum of 150 in the 2025 UTME and selected MOUAU as their first-choice institution are eligible to apply. Those who did not initially choose the university may change their first choice on the JAMB portal before proceeding with the application.
Application Process and Fee
Applicants are required to visit [www.mouau.edu.ng], click on the 2025/2026 admission screening banner, and complete the online form with a valid email address, phone number, and JAMB registration number. A non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000 is to be paid through the Remita platform, either online or at any commercial bank.
After payment, candidates must return to the portal to validate their RRR and continue with the registration. They are also required to upload their O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) through an accredited JAMB CBT centre. The university emphasized that results from no more than two sittings will be considered.
Candidates awaiting the release of their 2025 O’Level results have been advised not to register until the results are available, to avoid disqualification.
Direct Entry applicants are expected to upload their relevant certificates in PDF format while filling the form.
Screening Format and Result Timeline
The screening exercise is conducted online, and no physical examination is required. Applicants will receive their results 14 working days after registration, and are expected to check the university portal for updates on both screening outcomes and admission status.
The institution also warned that it is not responsible for incorrect information entered during registration and urged candidates to double-check their details before submission.
