Ahmadi College of Health Technology, Patigi, Kwara State, has received full accreditation for its Community Health Department from the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN).
The accreditation covers the Senior Community Health Extension Worker (SCHEW), Junior Community Health Extension Worker (JCHEW), and Returnee Course programmes, enabling the institution to officially train and certify students in community health practice.
In a statement signed by the Administrative Secretary, Aliyu Idris, the college management described the achievement as a significant milestone in its pursuit of academic excellence and professional recognition.
Following the accreditation, the college will now participate in the annual national examinations organized by CHPRBN for community health practitioners across Nigeria.
“The management gives all glory to God Almighty for this accomplishment and extends deep appreciation to the Etsu Patigi, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Umar Bologi II, for his royal blessings and unwavering support throughout the establishment, approval, and accreditation process,” the statement read.
The management also commended the resilience and commitment of staff members, acknowledging their contributions to the progress and development of the institution.
Families, friends, and members of the Patigi community were also appreciated for their continuous trust and support.
The College Council expressed gratitude to CHPRBN for maintaining professionalism and ensuring quality standards in the accreditation process, assuring the public of its commitment to producing competent health professionals who meet global standards.
