The management of Vision University, Ikogbo, Ogun State, has announced a change in the resumption date for all newly admitted students into the institution. According to an official notice issued and signed by I.E. Osuagwu, on behalf of the Registrar, the new date for resumption has been shifted to Wednesday, 19th November 2025.
The notice, addressed to parents and guardians, explained that the adjustment was made to allow the University complete ongoing arrangements for a smoother take-off of academic activities for the new students. It further stated that the decision was taken after careful consideration of several logistics and infrastructural needs necessary to guarantee students’ safety, comfort, and academic excellence.
According to the management, the postponement will enable the institution to finalize essential preparations, including accommodation readiness, campus maintenance, and other vital services required for a conducive teaching and learning environment. The University emphasized that these measures are being implemented in the best interest of the students who will soon commence their academic journey at Vision University.
The statement read in part: “This adjustment became necessary to enable the University complete ongoing arrangements aimed at ensuring that students who will be residing and studying within the University premises are provided with a comfortable, safe, and conducive learning environment.”
The management expressed regret over any inconvenience that the change in date might cause parents, guardians, and prospective students. It appealed for understanding, assuring all stakeholders that the decision reflects the University’s unwavering commitment to delivering quality education and ensuring the welfare of its students.
Parents and guardians were also advised to take note of the new date and make necessary adjustments to their travel and settlement plans accordingly. The University reiterated that all academic and administrative schedules have been realigned to reflect the new resumption timeline.
