The Management of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, has addressed the concerns of students regarding delays in the ongoing JAMB regularization process, assuring that the issue will be resolved soon after the current admission cycle concludes.
According to information obtained from the Admissions Office on Thursday, the delay stems from JAMB’s ongoing admission exercise for both polytechnics and universities across the country. The Board is said to be fully occupied with admission processing, hence the temporary halt in handling regularization cases.
The Polytechnic noted that once JAMB concludes its admission activities, the processing and release of regularization details for affected students will commence immediately.
In the interim, students have been urged to exercise patience and understanding, as the delay is procedural and not peculiar to Kogi State Polytechnic alone.
“We understand the anxiety among students waiting for their JAMB regularization, but we want to assure everyone that the situation is under control,” a source at the Admissions Office explained. “Once JAMB finalizes this year’s admission processes, attention will shift to pending regularization matters.”
The Management further appealed to students to remain calm and avoid panic, emphasizing that all affected candidates will be duly attended to once the process resumes.
The Polytechnic expressed appreciation to students for their patience and cooperation, reiterating its commitment to ensuring that all legitimate academic records are properly regularized with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.
