The Rector of Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic, Sokoto, Malam Aliyu Balarabe, has received the Sokoto State Coordinator of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) during a courtesy visit to the institution.
During the meeting, Malam Balarabe expressed appreciation to the JAMB Coordinator and his team for the visit, assuring them of the Polytechnic’s continued cooperation and readiness to work closely with the board in advancing educational development in Sokoto State.
Earlier, the leader of the JAMB delegation explained that the visit was undertaken to inspect the Polytechnic’s ICT Accreditation Centre and to provide professional guidance aimed at improving its effectiveness and compliance with required standards.
The visit was attended by the Deputy Rectors (Academic and Administration), the Bursar, the Registrar, and several Directors of the institution.
The inspection forms part of JAMB’s routine engagement with tertiary institutions to ensure the quality and readiness of facilities used for admission-related processes.
