The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has reminded newly admitted students that they have until Tuesday, January 13, 2026, to pay their acceptance fees. This is a crucial step to secure their admission, as failure to comply will result in their names being deleted from the institution’s portal to make way for candidates on the waiting list.
According to the Registrar, Abiodun O. Oloyede, “The Institution shall not entertain any plea from any candidate who had been deleted from the portal after the expiration of this notice.” This emphasizes the importance of meeting the deadline.
The acceptance fee is a non-refundable payment of ₦30,000 – ₦40,000, which validates admission and allows students to proceed with registration. Students who have accepted their admission offers on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) but haven’t paid the acceptance fee will not be considered fully admitted.
The Management encourages students to utilize the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) initiative to support payment of tuition fees. This federal government scheme aims to alleviate financial burdens, especially for low-income students.

To pay the acceptance fee, students should:
– Visit the Osun State Polytechnic website
– Login to the Student Portal using their Application Number or JAMB Reg Number
– Generate an invoice for the acceptance fee
– Make payment online or at a designated bank
Registration is a prerequisite for writing examinations, and students who fail to register on time will not be considered for the First Semester 2025/2026 examination.
