The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has reaffirmed the officially approved subject combinations for candidates seeking admission into Nigerian tertiary institutions in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), covering a total of 102 courses across sciences, engineering, social sciences, arts, education, and law-related disciplines.

The clarification is aimed at guiding prospective candidates as they finalise their course choices, amid recurring cases of admission denial caused by wrong subject combinations. Education stakeholders have repeatedly warned that even candidates with high UTME scores risk disqualification if their subject combinations do not align with JAMB and institutional requirements.
