The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has assured that disbursement of allocation to the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, would be made soon, to cater for loans applied for by students of the Institution. This assurance was made by the Director of Strategic Communications at NELFUND, Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, who stated that discussions on issues delaying disbursement to the University are ongoing between NELFUND and the Management of LAUTECH, led by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, and are nearing conclusion.
According to Oluwatuyi, the discussions aim to resolve the issues hindering the disbursement of the loan allocation to LAUTECH students. The University’s Management, led by Professor Kalilu, has been working closely with NELFUND to address these issues, and a resolution is expected soon.
In a related development, Professor Kalilu has announced that LAUTECH will not stop any student from writing examination provided such a student has applied and passed the stage of verification.
