The University of Calabar has granted a final extension for students to complete their registration for the 2025/2026 academic session. The portal will be closed finally on Sunday, 1st February, 2026, at midnight, after which no further registration will be allowed.
In a memo signed by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Ekaette Enang, students who have not registered their courses are advised to take advantage of this extension to do so before the deadline. The memo was addressed to all Deans, Directors, HODs, and the Students’ Union Government.
The extension was granted following appeals from the Students’ Union Government and other stakeholders, indicating the university’s commitment to ensuring that students are given ample opportunity to complete their registration.
According to the memo, examinations for other levels will start on 16th February, while GSS and other 100-level examinations will come up later. Students are expected to make necessary arrangements to sit for their exams.
The university management is urging students to comply with the deadline to avoid any inconvenience. The closure of the portal will enable the university to proceed with academic activities as scheduled.
Prof. Ekaette Enang emphasized the importance of students taking advantage of the extension to regularize their registration status. The university is committed to ensuring that academic activities run smoothly.
This notice serves as a reminder to students to complete their registration and avoid any last-minute rush. The university’s management appreciates the cooperation of students in this regard.
Students are advised to check the university’s website or contact their department for more information on the registration process. The Students’ Union Government is also expected to disseminate the information to all students, ensuring that no one is left out.
