The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the release of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mock results. The announcement, made today, Tuesday, March 31, 2026, follows the successful conduct of the mock exercise held nationwide on March 28.
In a move to streamline the process and manage traffic, JAMB has restricted result checking to a dedicated SMS platform. Candidates are advised that the online portal is currently not active for result printing.
To access scores, candidates must:

Send MOCKRESULT to 55019 or 66019.

Ensure the request is sent from the phone number used during registration.

Maintain a minimum airtime balance of ₦50, as standard network charges apply.
Following a post-examination review, JAMB has reportedly delisted over 20 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers across the country. These centers were flagged for technical inadequacies, including power failures and system glitches experienced by candidates during the mock exercise.
The Board emphasized that these sanctions are necessary to ensure a seamless experience for the over 1.9 million candidates expected to sit for the main examination next month.
Education experts are urging candidates to view these results as a diagnostic tool rather than a final verdict.
“The mock is a dress rehearsal,” says Education Consultant Dr. Amaka Okafor. “Whether a candidate scored 180 or 300, the focus now must shift to time management and familiarization with the CBT interface ahead of the main UTME.”
JAMB has reiterated its “Zero Tolerance” policy for examination malpractice. Candidates are warned to steer clear of “result upgrade” scammers. The Board clarified that UTME scores are encrypted on a secure server and cannot be altered by third parties.
