The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the commencement of the reprinting of examination slips for candidates registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), urging all applicants to take immediate action.
The board explained that the reprinted slip contains essential examination details, including the candidate’s centre, date, and time of the examination, making it a compulsory document for participation in the exercise.
JAMB stressed that the reprinting process is a critical requirement, as the slip serves as the official entry pass into the Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres. Candidates without the printed slip will not be allowed access into the examination hall under any condition.
To facilitate a smooth process, candidates have been advised to visit accredited cyber cafés or any reliable business centre if they are unable to print the slip themselves. The board encouraged early reprinting to avoid last-minute congestion and unnecessary stress.
The reprinting exercise signals the final phase of preparations ahead of the 2026 UTME, as JAMB continues efforts to ensure a seamless and credible examination process across the country.
Candidates are further advised to familiarise themselves with their examination centres ahead of time and plan their movements to avoid lateness on the day of the exam. Punctuality and strict adherence to examination guidelines remain key to a successful outing.
With the UTME drawing closer, candidates are encouraged to remain focused on their studies while completing all necessary pre-examination procedures, including the timely reprinting of their slips.
