The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has announced an extension of the application deadline for its 78 Regular Course, shifting the closing date from April 30 to May 15, 2026.
The extension provides prospective candidates with additional time to complete and submit their applications, following earlier concerns about access and processing timelines.
According to the Academy, applicants seeking admission must also register with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and select the NDA as their first-choice institution. Candidates are also required to sit for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
The Academy stated that admission is open to both male and female Nigerians, urging interested applicants to take advantage of the extended window to finalise their registration.
Applications are to be completed عبر the official NDA portal, where candidates are expected to obtain an access code and proceed with payment through the designated platform.
The NDA emphasised that all applicants must meet the stipulated requirements and adhere strictly to the application guidelines to be considered for admission.
The extension is expected to give more eligible candidates the opportunity to participate in the selection process for one of Nigeria’s foremost military training institutions.
