Music executive Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has partnered with TS Academy to offer technology scholarships to young Nigerians, with selected beneficiaries eligible for tuition support of up to ₦447,000.
The initiative, named the Don Jazzy Tech Scholarship 2027, is designed to help aspiring digital professionals access training across a range of technology-related fields.
Announcing the programme, the Mavin Records founder encouraged young people to invest in education and acquire new skills.
“Education is key,” he said.
According to TS Academy, applicants can choose from courses including software development, frontend and backend development, artificial intelligence and automation, cybersecurity, data science and data analytics.
Other available courses include content creation, digital marketing, product design, graphic design, virtual assistance, project management, product management and DevOps engineering.
The academy said most of its courses do not require applicants to have previous experience in technology, making the programme open to beginners interested in developing digital skills.
The scholarship offers tuition reductions of up to 100 per cent, depending on the category awarded to each successful applicant. Beneficiaries may also have access to practical training, mentorship, internship opportunities and job placement support.
The programme has also made 50 laptops available for selected beneficiaries, while 500 students may qualify for data support. The academy said the additional assistance would depend on eligibility, demonstrated need and available resources.
Interested candidates can apply through the official scholarship portal, where they can select a course and complete the application form.
TS Academy said applicants may select one course, although a chosen course can be changed before the cohort begins, subject to the programme’s conditions. Training is scheduled to commence on February 28, 2027.
The programme requires recipients to pay an application fee, with a discount available. Applicants are advised to check the scholarship terms and confirm the details of their individual awards before making any payment.
Candidates can visit the official portal for information on application requirements, available courses and enrolment instructions.
