The Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has announced the resumption date for the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic session. According to an internal memorandum signed by the Registrar, Abiodun Oloyede, lectures for the second semester will commence on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
The memorandum, dated June 2, 2025, was addressed to the Polytechnic Community, informing them of the resumption date in line with the approved Academic Calendar by the Board of Studies. The Registrar noted that the successful conclusion of the First Semester Examinations marked the end of the First Semester.
All Deans and Heads of Department have been directed to ensure that full academic activities resume as scheduled. The Registrar stated, “Consequent upon the successful conclusion of the First Semester Examinations for the 2024/2025 Academic Session, which also marked the end of the First Semester, I write to inform the Polytechnic Community that lectures for the Second Semester 2024/2025 Academic Session would commence on Tuesday, 10th June, 2025 in line with the approved Academic Calendar by the Board of Studies.”
The memorandum also directed all full-time students to comply with the provisions and resume for lectures as scheduled. The directive reads, “All Deans and Heads of Department should please ensure that full academic activities resume as scheduled. All full time students are also enjoined to comply with the provisions of this memorandum and resume for lectures as scheduled.”
