Tazkiyyah University, Kaduna, founded by Prof. Ibrahim Makari, has officially unveiled its faculties and programmes as it commences academic activities. Established as an all-female university, Tazkiyyah is designed to empower women through access to quality higher education, academic innovation, and value-driven training. Its take-off site is strategically located on Chikaji Road, Zaria, Kaduna State.

1. A Vision for Women’s Education

The university was founded on the vision of raising a generation of women who are not only educated but also equipped with the right values to lead and transform society. Tazkiyyah University seeks to fill a gap in Nigeria’s higher education landscape by offering a safe and empowering learning environment exclusively for women.

2. Faculty of Allied Health Sciences

The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences has been established to address the growing need for qualified professionals in Nigeria’s health sector. Programmes available under this faculty include:

  • B.NSc. Nursing Science
  • B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Science
  • B.Sc. Public Health
  • B.Sc. Human Nutrition & Dietetics
    These courses are structured to prepare female students for careers in critical areas of healthcare delivery and public health management.

3. Faculty of Science and Computing

The Faculty of Science and Computing is dedicated to technological advancement and digital innovation. With courses such as:

  • B.Sc. Cyber Security

  • B.Sc. Petroleum Chemistry

4. Faculty of Management and Social Sciences

Recognizing the importance of leadership and socio-economic development, the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences will run degree programmes in:
