The Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) have issued a joint disclaimer, warning the public and applicants of the 2025 OgunTEACh exercise to disregard fraudulent information circulating on social media.
In a statement co-signed by SUBEB Chairman, Evangelist Joshua Olalekan Ifede, and TESCOM Chairman, Apostle Biodun Sanyaolu, the agencies clarified that details of scores, results, and screening invitations being shared online are unauthorized and false. They urged prospective teachers to rely solely on official communication channels.
According to the official release, only candidates who scored 40 and above in the qualifying test and received a direct SMS or notification from either SUBEB or TESCOM are invited for the physical screening. The statement also noted that only applicants whose subjects of specialisation were listed on the OGSERA Portal will be considered for a position.
The agencies have confirmed the official schedule for the screening exercise as follows:
SUBEB: Invited candidates are to report for screening on Wednesday, 3rd September 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at the SUBEB Conference Room.
TESCOM: Screening for invited candidates will hold on Monday, 8th September 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at the TESCOM Conference Room.
All invited applicants must attend the screening with their original credentials, including their NYSC certificate (if applicable) and a valid form of identification, such as the National Identification Number (NIN). The authorities emphasized that strict compliance is expected.
