The College of Education, Gindiri has opened its admission process for the 2025/2026 academic session, inviting applications into its Degree, Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), and Professional Diploma in Education (PDE) programmes.
According to the institution, the admission exercise provides an opportunity for both fresh and returning learners to pursue studies across the sciences, arts, and humanities.
Eligibility Requirements
The College provided a detailed breakdown of requirements for different categories of applicants:
Degree applicants must have scored 180 and above in the 2025/2026 JAMB examination.
NCE applicants require a minimum score of 100 in the same examination.
Non-JAMB applicants who did not sit for JAMB but intend to pursue NCE may still apply. Such candidates are to obtain the form directly from the Bursary Department of the College at a cost of ₦5,000.
Transfer candidates who initially selected other institutions but wish to study at Gindiri may also apply. However, they are required to process a change of institution on the JAMB portal.
Professional Diploma in Education (PDE) forms remain available for interested applicants.
Application Process
The application procedure has been designed to be straightforward:
1. Visit the College of Education, Gindiri website.
2. Complete the online application form with accurate personal and academic details.
3. For candidates purchasing the form directly from the bursary (NCE without JAMB), a payment receipt must be collected and kept safe as proof of purchase.
Access and Opportunities
The College stressed that this admission exercise is more than just an application process; it represents an opportunity for learners to join an academic community committed to building future educators and professionals. With multiple pathways, Degree, NCE, or PDE the institution has kept its doors open to a wide range of candidates, from fresh school leavers to those seeking to change academic direction or acquire professional teaching qualifications.
In a statement, the management described the 2025/2026 admission window as a call to action for prospective students: “The gates of the College of Education, Gindiri are wide open again, calling out to students who want to begin or continue their studies. Whether it is a Degree, NCE, or PDE, the path is there, waiting for you to take the step. Do not let this opportunity slip by, because time waits for no one.”
