The council further stated that 75 candidates’ results, representing 0.72 per cent, have been withheld over alleged examination malpractice, adding that investigations are ongoing and decisions will be communicated to the affected candidates after due process.
WAEC noted that the examination was conducted between January 28 and February 14, 2026, while the coordination and marking of scripts took place from February 26 to March 13 at three marking venues located in Lagos, Enugu and Kaduna, with 608 examiners participating in the exercise.
Candidates have been advised to check their results online via the WAEC results portal and proceed to access their digital certificates through the council’s certificate platform. The council also urged candidates to carefully review their results and take necessary steps where required.
