The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has officially released the results of its Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. This announcement is particularly important for candidates who applied for admission into the institution and recently participated in the Post-UTME exercise.
According to the University, the results are now accessible on its official online portal, and candidates are advised to check their performance promptly. The Post-UTME score is a crucial determinant in the admission process, as it will be combined with the UTME score and other relevant criteria before the final admission list is released.
To make the process seamless, UNIPORT has provided a simple result-checking system for all applicants. Candidates can access their results online by following these steps:
- Visit the official UNIPORT Post-UTME result checking portal via POST-UTME RESULTS PORTAL
- Login with your JAMB Registration Number and the password you used during registration
- Click on the ‘Result Slip’ option to view your screening result
Applicants are advised to print out their results for record-keeping and for use during subsequent stages of the admission process, including physical screening and clearance exercises, if eventually admitted.
It is important to note that the release of the Post-UTME results is not the same as the admission list. UNIPORT management has assured that the admission list for qualified candidates will be released soon. In the meantime, applicants are encouraged to keep checking both the University portal and their JAMB CAPS profile for updates on their admission status.
The University also reminded candidates to ensure that their O’level results have been uploaded on the JAMB portal, as failure to do so could jeopardize admission chances, even for those who scored highly in the Post-UTME.
UNIPORT congratulated all candidates who successfully completed the screening exercise and wished them the very best as they move forward in the admission process.
