The management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has announced the commencement of the verification and authentication of results and related documents for all candidates recently offered provisional admission by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for the 2025/2026 academic session. The exercise is designed to ensure that only duly qualified candidates are admitted into the institution.
According to the official notice signed by Mrs. Olavinka O. Balogun, the exercise will begin on Monday, 27th September 2025, and will terminate on Friday, 17th October 2025. The three-week schedule will provide ample time for candidates to complete the process, but the university has advised that students should present themselves early to avoid the last-minute rush that often characterizes such exercises.
The notice further stated that only candidates who undergo successful screening will be enabled to access the LAUTECH portal. Once granted access, students will be able to pay their school fees and other prescribed charges, which officially secures their place in the university. This payment stage is compulsory before candidates can proceed to the biometric data capturing exercise.

Following the verification of documents and payment of required fees, candidates will be directed to the Information and Communication Technology Centre (ICT) for biometric data capturing. It is at this stage that matriculation numbers will be generated and assigned. The management emphasized that this process is a crucial part of integrating students into the university’s official database, and no student will be recognized without completing it.
The verification exercise will take place at “The Hall,” located adjacent to the Postgraduate School. It will run daily between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm throughout the duration of the schedule. The university has urged students to strictly observe the stipulated time, as late arrivals will not be entertained. Staff and officials have been mandated to provide efficient services and maintain transparency during the process.
To participate in the exercise, candidates are expected to present the following documents for sighting: O’Level results uploaded on JAMB CAPS, A’Level or other results uploaded for Direct Entry admission, the original JAMB result slip, and the letter of provisional admission from JAMB. In addition, students must bring along their receipt of acceptance fee payment as well as the receipt for portal access fees. The management has warned that incomplete documentation will lead to disqualification from the exercise.
Mrs. Balogun, in her statement, extended best wishes to all newly admitted candidates and reminded them of the importance of integrity in academics. She stressed that LAUTECH is committed to weeding out fraudulent admissions and ensuring that only qualified students with authentic credentials are enrolled in the institution. According to her, this verification step is not just a formality but a safeguard for the university’s academic standards.
The management also appealed to parents and guardians to provide full support for their wards during the verification period. It cautioned against waiting until the deadline approaches, noting that the influx of last-minute candidates usually creates unnecessary tension. By complying early, students stand a better chance of completing the process smoothly without errors or delays.
With the new academic session about to take off, LAUTECH has reaffirmed its readiness to welcome the fresh set of undergraduates. The institution congratulated all successful candidates on their admission and encouraged them to view the verification exercise as the first step in a journey of discipline, hard work, and excellence.
The university’s clear and detailed guidelines for this process reflect its determination to maintain order, transparency, and fairness in student admissions. As the 2025/2026 session begins, LAUTECH Ogbomoso is setting the stage for an academic year anchored on integrity and progress.
