Caleb University has officially announced its resumption dates and first semester examination timetable for the 2026 academic session, with specific schedules outlined for different academic levels. The management said the structured timeline is aimed at ensuring an orderly and stress-free academic calendar for both students and staff.
According to the university, students in the 200 and 400 Levels are expected to resume academic activities in January, alongside their 300 Level counterparts. However, 100 Level students are scheduled to resume later, in February, to allow adequate preparation for their entry into the academic system.
The institution disclosed that first semester examinations will commence from late January and extend into March, depending on students’ levels. A senior university official explained that the staggered examination schedule was carefully designed to manage facilities effectively and promote smooth academic operations.
In a statement issued by the management, students were strongly reminded of the importance of completing all registration and academic requirements before the start of examinations. “All students must ensure that their registration processes are concluded on time, as no form of adjustment or exception will be entertained,” the statement read.
The university further warned that students who fail to meet the registration deadline would not be allowed to participate in the examinations. “There will be no changes to the examination timetable, and students who are not fully registered will bear full responsibility for any consequences,” the management added.
Advising students to plan ahead, the institution urged them to strictly follow the approved academic schedule. “Early preparation is key to academic success. Students are encouraged to avoid last-minute rushes that often lead to unnecessary stress and avoidable mistakes,” the notice stated.
The management also reassured students of its commitment to maintaining academic excellence and discipline. According to the university, adherence to schedules and academic regulations is essential for sustaining a productive learning environment.
Students were therefore encouraged to stay informed through official university communication channels and take personal responsibility for meeting all academic obligations as the 2026 academic session progresses.
