The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released additional results for candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18, as the nationwide examination continues for thousands yet to write.
According to a statement issued by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, a total of 1,264,940 results from the second and third days of the examination have now been made available for candidates to access. This development follows the earlier release of results from the first day of the examination.
TOTAL RESULTS RELEASED SO FAR
JAMB confirmed that:
1. Day 1 (April 16, 2026): 632,752 results released
2. Day 2 & 3 (April 17–18, 2026): 1,264,940 results released
Cumulative Total:
1,897,692 results have been released so far
HOW TO CHECK UTME 2026 RESULTS
Candidates who have taken the examination can check their results by:
Sending “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019
Using the same phone number (SIM card) used during UTME registration

With the UTME still ongoing across accredited CBT centres nationwide, candidates yet to sit for their exams are advised to remain focused and adhere strictly to all examination guidelines. JAMB reiterated that results are being processed and released in batches, ensuring transparency and accuracy in the marking system.
The phased release of results reflects JAMB’s ongoing efforts to maintain efficiency in the conduct of the 2026 UTME. As more candidates complete their examinations in the coming days, the Board is expected to continue releasing results accordingly, keeping candidates informed throughout the process.
