A five-day residential leadership training programme targeted at secondary school students in Nigeria is scheduled to take place in Lafia, Nasarawa State, from August 18 to 23, 2025. Tagged *Teenagers Leadership Camp 2025*, the initiative aims to build a new generation of young leaders equipped with purpose, values, and the confidence to create global impact.
With the theme “Learn, Reflect, and Act,” the camp is open to teenagers between the ages of 13 and 17 currently in Senior Secondary School (SS1 to SS3). Organisers say the programme is designed to help participants develop critical leadership and communication skills, gain clarity on personal goals and career paths, and grow in confidence, responsibility, and ethical values.
In addition to classroom-based learning and interactive sessions, the camp will provide a safe, structured environment for participants to connect with peers from diverse backgrounds, share ideas, and engage in personal development activities.
Organisers described the initiative as a timely intervention to help Nigerian teenagers build resilience and character in the face of growing global challenges, noting that early exposure to leadership values is key to raising responsible citizens.
Participation in the camp is strictly by application, with limited spaces available. Interested parents, guardians, and educators are encouraged to apply on behalf of eligible students via the official registration link.
The camp is expected to draw teenagers from across Nasarawa and neighbouring states, with facilitators drawn from youth development organisations and leadership coaching experts.
The organisers say the long-term vision of the camp is to create a pipeline of young Nigerians who will lead with empathy, integrity, and innovation both at home and abroad.
