The Nigerian Law School has announced a make up programme for students whose results were withheld in the December 2025 Bar Final Examinations.
In a notice issued by the Council of Legal Education at its Bwari, Abuja campus, the school said the affected students are those with deficiencies linked to absence or failure in portfolio assessment, externship, or the dinner component.
According to the notice, a structured schedule has been released to allow impacted candidates complete outstanding requirements.
The externship programme for court placements is set to run from April 27 to May 15, 2026, while externship in law offices will take place from May 18 to June 5, 2026. The portfolio defence has been fixed for June 9, 2026.
Students with pending dinner requirements are also expected to participate in the next scheduled session, which will hold between May 12 and May 14, 2026.
The Law School directed all affected candidates to submit applications on or before April 27, 2026, through its official email channel, providing key details such as their names, application numbers, preferred externship locations, and campus choices.
Applicants are also required to attach supporting documents, including passport photographs, result printouts, school identity cards, and evidence of payment, particularly for those with dinner deficiencies.
The notice, signed by the Secretary to the Council and Director of Administration, emphasised that the process is mandatory for all affected students seeking to regularise their academic records and proceed in their legal training.
The development offers a pathway for candidates to address outstanding requirements and move closer to being called to the Bar.
