The University of Ibadan (UI) has released the breakdown of school fees for undergraduate students for the 2024/2025 academic session, providing clarity for prospective and returning students who are making financial preparations for the new academic year. School fees remain one of the major concerns for aspirants, particularly as costs vary across faculties and programmes.
Findings by The Nigeria Education News show that the approved fees cover core academic and administrative charges, including utilities and technology-related services. University officials note that while the current figures apply to the 2024/2025 session, they are subject to review in subsequent academic years depending on institutional needs and prevailing economic conditions.
As part of the admission process, all newly admitted undergraduate students are required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦50,000 across all courses. In addition, students who secure accommodation within the university are expected to pay ₦60,000 as hostel fees, subject to availability of spaces.
