The Lagos State University International School has announced the commencement of applications for key academic and administrative positions, as part of efforts to strengthen teaching quality and institutional leadership.
The institution, a co-educational secondary school owned by Lagos State University, is located within the university’s main campus in Ojo and began academic operations in September 2016.
According to an official notice, vacancies are available for the position of Principal, alongside teaching roles in Physics, Chemistry, Social Studies, Creative and Cultural Arts, Basic Technology, and Music.
Requirements for Principal Role
Applicants seeking the position of Principal must:
- Hold a good honours degree in Education with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division
- Be registered with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria
- Possess at least 15 years post-qualification experience, including five years in school administration
Requirements for Teaching Positions
Candidates applying for teaching roles are expected to:
- Hold relevant degrees in Education (minimum of Second Class Upper Division)
- Present a valid NYSC discharge certificate
- Be registered with TRCN
- Demonstrate ICT proficiency (considered an added advantage)
